Warranty on your motorcycle is extremely important for a number of reasons. Not only to ensure that your ownership experience is protected, but also to protect resale values if you were to choose to sell or upgrade your Zero.
Zero Motorcycles have now partnered with The Motorcycle Organisation (TMO) to offer extended warranty packages for all Zero Motorcycle models, no matter the age. This is a game changer for Zero owners and future owners alike.
How It Works:
- Step 1 is to confirm when your current manufacturer warranty runs out. This can be done by contacting a Zero Motorcycles Dealer (Preferably Two70 Motorcycles).
- Step 2, determine what level of cover you need. If you still have time on your 5-year battery warranty, but your 2-year bike warranty has run out, we can arrange bike-only cover that matches the period of battery cover left. Or if both have run out we can arrange bike and battery warranty to ensure you're fully covered.
- Step 3 is to arrange and complete an inspection of your bike to ensure it qualifies. To allow the extended warranty to be applied to your bike, we have to show that the bike is in good working condition. For this we complete a 40+ point inspection of your bike, including calculating the battery health (if battery warranty is required).
- Step 4, the final step, is to gain approval from TMO and your warranty cover goes live!
If you still have a few months on your current warranty, it is possible to have the above process completed and the go-live date set for when your current cover ends.
